Working Collaboratively To Change Educational Technology?

Overall the form of this blog will be changing. Still available will be able the RSS feeds from my Diigo.com links that we utilize in D73.  These are now moved to the right hand sidebar, along with topics of staff training that have been used at East Prairie School District.

The new purpose of this page will be used to facilitate conversation between school district members and the internet community, teachers and administrators as we look at ways that we can change and rework the educational methodologies we currently use with and modify them to incorporate technology as foundation to our students education.  The page is divided into various sections, listed at the top, which in my mind are, are paramount for understanding how and why technology delivery needs to change in our district.

Feel free to comment on these pages and build collaboration as we more to the next century.

  • At its core, “flipped instruction” refers to moving aspects of teaching out of the classroom and into the homework space. With the advent of new technologies, specifically the ability to record digitally annotated and narrated screencasts, instructional videos have become a common medium in the flipped classroom. Although not limited to videos, a flipped classroom most often harnesses different forms of instructional video published online for students.
